LATVIA – Riga: The Exciting Metropolis of Baltics

During the independence period Riga has changed and now, as a European capital, has opened its doors to you and to make you discover its marvels.

Being the major city in the Baltics, it has biggest airport with direct flights to all over Europe and Middle East.

Riga is the city of the right size! It’s not too big to make you spend time and money on transfers, and you can walk almost everywhere in city center. And it’s also not too small to easily fit conferences for up to thousand delegates. All big hotels are concentrated in the city center, around the old town, where main attractions are. All traces of the past can be found easily here,  such as the Blackheads’ House, the Small and Big Guild Houses, the Dome Square and the Cathedral, its churches and romantic parks, the “Soviet Touch”etc…and of course, the famous Art Nouveau buildings everywhere in the city, which has made its reputation thanks to Eisenstein in the beginning of the 20th century.

Riga is famous also with its theatres, operas, art galleries and not too far, the Rundale Palace.

No doubts, Riga is the best place for clubbing in Nordic Europe! In the city center, you’ll be sure to find what will suit you most among jazz or blues clubs, disco and cocktail bars, or huge clubs to dance on techno music!

Around Riga, Sigulda is a beautiful spot for nature lovers with lots of forest trails. Touch of history is added by medieval castles and manor houses. But it’s beloved for unique and crazy activities  like aerodium, bobleight, high ropes, amphibia driving, located close to each other, and easily combined!

JURMALA:

Just in 30 minutes drive from Riga city centre , Jurmala - the sea resort of the State – opens its long and dynamic Promenade, the sweet climate and the luxurious spas along the 33 km long white sandy beach.
