Challenge:

To make event  in the special and surprising way, as participants were not aware of the “swap” in  destination when they took a ferry to Tallinn after congress in Helsinki.

Another challenge was to amaze with the huge difference between 2 cities located in 80 km one from each other – Tallinn and Helsinki

Realization:

• While guests were in Helsinki for the congress, one evening they found in the rooms notes from the Brotherhood of Doctors informing them about grand gathering in Tallinn.
• To make first entrance to the Mediaval Town remarkable, we brought the  honoured guests by coaches to the Sea Gates (from harbour side), by the Fat Megarita‘s Tower, where their visit was announced by canon so that everyone can hear it!
• After entering the gates, guests were offered to send „note“ home that they have happily  arrived to Tallinn by PIGEON POST, after wich guests were guided by the longest street of Tallinn Old Town (Pikk – „Long“) to the Great Guild House, where Alderman welcomed them to the city, served welcome drink, and musicians played to the honor of the guests!
• The meeting was held in the Brotherhood of Blackheads grand hall, and wine cellars were used as a break out rooms form small meetings under candle light.
• During the cofee brakes guests were challenged to colour their own marzipan figures or offered to sample traditional herbal  spirits to help their body and soul.
• Small reception was held in the oldest working pharmacy in Europe. With the grand feast held in the house of rich merchant  eating delicious food and savoring good drink , enjoying the  good music and the warmth of hearth and home during the Hanseatic times!
