          Participants:  Best clients
          Number: 30

Location:

Masai Mara

Challenge:

To treat our top agents to a special and memorable stay unique to this region only.

Realization:

Day 1   Clients come out of the arrivals hall and are welcomed by a band in traditional tribal costumes giving them their first taste of Africa. The band also gives them little African gifts as we offer them a welcome cocktail. Transfers are done in Vintage/Classic Cars. Clients feel very pampered. Day spent at leisure exploring Nairobi.

Day 2   Vintage Car Transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. On arrival at the Masai Mara airstrip, clients are met and taken on game drive and back in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive and evening sundowners follow.

Day 3  Today’s adventure begins just before dawn. Flames from the hot air balloons’ burners light the darkness as the crews inflate the crafts. As the first pink lines of light flicker across the skies, the inflated balloons begin to rise. Suspended in a basket beneath the canopy the clients depart on an entirely different game viewing experience. For an hour they drift over the Mara plains going wherever the air currents take them. Then in the time-honored tradition of ballooning, clients toast their return to earth with a sumptuous champagne breakfast cooked before their eyes on the same burners that minutes before, kept them suspended in the air.

Day 4   Clients awake before sunrise and after a quick cup of tea/coffee depart on an early morning game drive as the sun comes up over the plains. After a few hours game driving they arrive at the bush breakfast site for a sumptuous breakfast fully laid out and beautifully prepared.

Surrounding the Mara are the lands of the Masai tribe, a tall, proud race of warriors. Herding cattle and goats, they’ve lived among the animals for centuries. We take the guests to Masai villages to see a way of life that’s survived almost unchanged for generations. Later on in the evening guests are treated to a Bush Dinner and have a chance to dance with the Masai.

Day 5   This morning clients take a walking safari with one of our armed-guides for the true thrill of the bush. Down on the same level as the animals they experience the untamed beauty of the Mara. Clients track game, unsure what waits round the next corner, giraffe, buffalo, even lion. They catch the scents and sounds of wild Africa. And at the end of it all waits a sumptuous bush barbecue complete with champagne before driving back to Nairobi for their International departure flight.
