• THE LOIRE VALLEY thanks to the high speed TGV train is on the doorstep of Paris - in just an hour you are in the heart of this beautiful region which is therefore an option both as a day trip from Paris and as a destination in itself. In the 16th century, French aristocrats liked the Loire valley so much that they built their castles there - creating a unique region of Renaissance beauty : chateaux such as Chennonceau, Cheverny, Chambord, Azay le Rideau bring visitors from the world over to this fascinating area. What is less known however is that the city of Tours boasts a state-of-the-art Congress centre and that the region offers a multitude of opportunities for MICE Meetings and incentives. The Loire Valley has also been famous since Gallo-Roman times for its excellent wines and good food that cannot fail to delight the gourmet visitor.
