AROUND BUDAPEST
ETYEK: This settlement with a population of 3700 persons is located at the foot of the Etyek hills, just 26 kms from Budapest. Because of the age-long culture of grapes, the village became the part of the historical wine region. The grape which is produced on 800 ha gives the body of the Törley champagne, and the Etyek wines (Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Szürkebarát, Királyleányka, Rajnai Rizling).

DANUBE BEND: The Danube Bend is the most picturesque and impressive part of the river in Hungary. In that area the Danube sharply alters its eastward course and starts flowing southwards. It is a romantic land where the twisting riverbank is surrounded by forest-covered hills of Pilis and Börzsöny. The Danube Bend offers 3 cities to be visited: Esztergom, Visegrád and Szentendre.
What to do:
DOMONYVÖLGY and GÖDÖLLŐ: Thirty-five kilometers from Budapest, in the very heart of the hills of Gödöllő, a tourist attraction has been established on the plains of Egerszeg near the town of Domonyvölgy: the Lázár Equestrian Park. This enterprise, which was dreamt up and realized by the horse-driving world champion Lázár brothers, combines the atmosphere of Hungarian villages with the flavor of a horse farm of European excellence and outstanding Hungarian hospitality. On the way to the Park or coming back we propose to make a stop at the beautiful Royal Palace of Gödöllő, the largest baroque palace in Hungary and one of the largest ones in Europe. The palace was built in the 1700's, in the baroque style.
